This is a practical manual to point out some critical areas you should consider as you contemplate marriage. It is, of course, the author's intent to show you the sacredness, sanctity, and holiness of the Marriage Covenant between a man and a woman, and to point out that to God it is "a very sacred Covenant." May you always be aware that marriage has to be worked at to be successful and lasting, but that it is very attainable and rewarding. Hold on to your dreams. Work and pray to make them happen. Envision a wonderful married life in your future. Without being able to have a vision, you will end up not being fulfilled in your life. God saw that it was not good that man should be alone - so He made a help meet for him. God understood our makeup, so he has a "spot" in man that needs to be filled... and only a wife, "a woman" is able to fill that "spot." God took the woman out of the man, so she would be like him, but feminine, so they could be put together again, since she was taken out of man. God is very wise. He planned marriage so both the man and the woman could be fulfilled, be blessed, and have a family to love and rejoice with.
