This book is a celebration of five artists whose work has built community in the city of Cincinnati. The selected artists engage with their community in two ways: by owning a gallery/non-profit, or a commitment to local exhibitions. The included artists who exhibit nationally or internationally treat Cincinnati galleries and museums with the same respect as those in Paris or New York. The Cincinnati Five celebrates those actively engaging Cincinnati, heralding their work and civic contributions.
