Faith in God

You have faith!1Jn 5:4 Because everything having been born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory overcoming the world, our faith. To believe, to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), that is, credit; by implication to entrust (especially one's spiritual well being to Christ). Faith, trust, (to be obedient, obedience) The word faith in the Bible is clearly used concerning to believe in something; Heb 11:1 Now faith is the essence of things being hoped, the evidence of things not having been seen. That is a certainty about something, but the word is also used in other contexts. The words faith and to believe comes from two Greek words, verb pisteúö (250 times) and the noun Pistis (244times). The same Greek word for faith has several meanings, as shown above, in relation to the context in which it is in. Therefore it is important to read the context and always remember when it is written faith; that it doesn't necessarily just mean to have a certainty about one thing, but can also mean for example obedience, as shown above. Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, the One loving me and giving Himself over on my behalf. Gal 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness is through Law, then Christ died without cause. Joh 14:1 Do not let your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. Joh 14:2 In My Father's house are many dwelling places. But if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you! Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will receive you to Myself, that where I am you may be also. Joh 14:4 And where I go you know, and the way you know. The belief in God affect us while we live here on earth, and our hope for what lies ahead.1Co 2:1 And when I came to you, brothers, I did not come with excellency of word or wisdom, declaring to you the Testimony of God. 1Co 2:2 For I decided not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ, and Him having been crucified. 1Co 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 1Co 2:4 And my word and my preaching was not in enticing words of human wisdom, but in proof of the Spirit and of power, 1Co 2:5 that your faith might not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Our faith shall be in the power of God, not in the wisdom of men. And our faith becomes in God's power when we are preached Jesus Anointed, and him crucified. Our faith becomes in God's power when those who preach doesn't come in excellency of word or wisdom when they declare the Testimony of God to us. Our faith becomes in God's power when those preaching to us is with us in weakness, and in fear and in much trembling; and their word and preaching is not in enticing words of human wisdom, but in proof of the spirit and of power;
