Marion loved escaping to the woods by the creek to visit her friend, Joey. He was her first love who awoke her passion and helped her escape her oppressive home life. Their love story ended abruptly with Joey's untimely death. Marion's will to live faltered. Two decades later, an accident allows Marion and Joey to reunite in heaven briefly. Returning to earth, Marion is aware of her loveless life where she has little control. Then she gets a mysterious phone call: her house is ready. Joey, in death, built her a home in the woods they loved. Marion resolves to leave her loveless home and start anew.
