Growing up as a preachers kid, Candace was happy being the good little church girl that her peers known her as. She looked up to her father and wanted to be just like him. Everything that she worked for was to make her daddy proud. Candace fathers sudden death turned this once good girl life around. Her faith was questioned, she no longer wanted to be the good girl that she had been her whole life. She meets back up with her high school crush and falls in love hard. Things start moving too fast for Candace. She starts doing things out of the ordinary and wondered if these things were always inside of her. She didn't party, drink, smoke, use drugs because she was always deep in the church. When she get a taste of these worldly things, her faith is tested. Candace becomes a successful writer and marries her high school sweetheart giving him a son. Candace wasn't ready for this life. Touring and meeting different people gives Candace a whole new outlook on life. She's traveling without her husband and there are nights that she needs someone to keep her warm at night. Her guilty sins may cause her to lose her home, husband, and her son if her secrets come out to the forefront.
