Ayesha is the first part of a trilogy and tells the story of love, lust, deceit and drugs in the fast-paced world of fashion. Rather than follow in her father's footsteps and study medicine a young Asian student, Ayesha, chooses to follow a career as a fashion designer, a decision that causes a rift between her and her father, Dr Raj Bahanda. While studying at university in Glasgow Ayesha meets and falls in love with Gerard Elthsworthy a brilliant young fashion design student. Gerard also falls in love with Ayesha. The problem is both are frightened to reveal their love for the other for fear of destroying their close friendship. Will love ever prevail for the young couple? While working on a fashion show some years later Ayesha accidentally stumbles across some models snorting cocaine before going on stage. Subsequently one of the younger models has overdosed and is rushed to hospital unsure if she will make it through the night. Ayesha becomes determined to track down the dealer and bring him to justice. But at what cost? Unknown to Ayesha the drug baron becomes aware of her plot to bring down his empire and suddenly the tables are turned. The hunter becomes the hunted!!!
