Peggy Lee addressed the query in song in 1969, with the haunting number, Is That All There Is? A similar line of thinking is, does heaven exist? And perhaps the core question would be, is there a God? We can talk about the absurdity of hanging your faith on primordial ooze, maybe a lightening strike to spark life in a random pool of natural chemicals. When we finish grappling with discordant theories that take no logic or reasonable explanations into ac-count, then we can begin to examine the world itself. A sunset, the breathtaking depth and breadth of Creation itself, and uncountable stars shining in a night sky. After being awestruck by nature it-self, often the next step a thoughtful person takes is to reexamine the Bible. Start with the possibility of an actual creator. Step away from some off-the-wall view that a world was built by spontaneous means. Perhaps even something as preposterous as the presence of gravity creating life out of whole cloth. Then, when you open your Bible, you see that maybe it is time to examine its words to see if there is logic behind the testimony, contained within sixty-six books, in two testaments. After awhile, you begin to seriously question yourself. "Maybe Grandma was right... Maybe there is a God...." You begin to think that perhaps you have been in deep denial. Even running from the truth that has always stood right in front of you. Suddenly, from seemingly out of nowhere, God speaks to your heart. "But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul."
