Basic Education For Unarmed & Armed Security Officers Joe Chapman

The purpose of this training program is to instruct students in basic security officer knowledge needed to perform the tasks of a professional, private security officer licensed in the State of Utah. This training will cover all areas necessary for both unarmed and armed licensing in Utah. The training will be provided in a classroom setting with an approved instructor. Each subject is broken down into a unit. Students will read each unit followed with an instructor lecture and a Q & A period before going onto the next unit. With some units, a video may be used to reinforce the lecture. Practical exercises will also be utilized by the instructor in applicable units.
