For school and community photo-journalist Sarah Karlstrom, her accidental double-exposure when using her new Argus C3 35mm camera caused frustration. And determination not to make that mistake again. Later, that double-exposed negative proved to be a threat to cause a new trial about a Black-Market business in California. And Sarah learned to create intentional multiple-exposures while reporting about post-World War II veterans in college because of the G. I. Bill for education. Sarah also shifted from her own self-centered focus to a new understanding of her relationship with others. And she pursued her conviction that her earlier double-exposure contained evidence that could help expose a criminal event related to the local Black Market.
