Inspired by the voice of God, the Bible contains a consistent theme and progression of thought despite the variety of human authors. Bible verses throughout proclaim that God exists, God is holy, God is love, and God is just. God has revealed a considerable amount of information about Himself. He has given us a record of what he wants us to understand and some matters we would otherwise deny. We will not, however, understand all about God until joining him in Paradise. The Bible presents history through centuries of God's actions upon people... God has no need to speak to our society by visions or dreams since each of us has easy access to God's message in writing. God appeals to our intellect and to our emotions. The Holy Spirit convicts. Read your Bible in its given sequence, read your Bible in a year, and read your Bible each year. All the while, be alert and yield to God.
