This docunovel is an amalgam of truth and fiction. All of the events described are based on actual occurrences, some of which have been slightly altered for the sake of dramatic unity. The time of this docunovel is 1986 I have retired with the rank of Detective 1st . Inspector Plato Gomez retired in 1986 (under protest) because of injuries suffered in a gunfight.
