Aztec Math Primary Book 1 was designed to provide classroom teachers with motivational material that will fulfill the students' needs and interests in learning mathematics. Most basic K-3 grade level skills are covered in the 36 worksheet assignments to include: sets, addition, subtraction, greater and less than, odd and even numbers, prime numbers plus more. The basic format requires students to: (1) review work and directions, (2) complete the color key...this can be student selected or teacher assigned and (3) complete the design using the color key as a guide. Each worksheet produces a colorful geometric design. The worksheets may be used with equal effectiveness in learning centers, individual instruction, small groups whole class and/or remedial instruction.
