Ski Bum Chronicles
Mr. Jeff L Lyon
It's 1981. Ross Ryan heads to Colorado from Texas to pursue the carefree lifestyle of a Rocky Mountain ski bum. The bonds he makes with Elk Valley Ranch staff help Ross survive a near fatal skiing accident, death of a friend, getting busted and tragic romances. Seasonal staff are the peons of paradise. They learn to party and survive on a pittance. Take a trip with Ross into the transient world of ski resort employees, who grew up on groovy in the 70s to ride the 80s new wave. cover photo courtesy of www. MountainLake.com
