Through the dismal days of the siege of Vicksburg to the romance and tender love of this Christian family, it will open your eyes to a different view of how life was in the Old South. Through my Christian beliefs and with the leadership of my Lord Jesus Christ, I was able to write this book. He shared this book with me through several dreams. As you read this story, I hope you can see how this one family made a difference in a state where hatred was extremely strong.
