Greek deities are ancient. And they're always being reincarnated. Here they are again, on the North Shore of Oahu, in a totally psychedelic, comic, surreal, trippy surfing atmosphere of heart-stopping waves and hot golden sand. Otis turned his head, and his mouth fell slightly open when he observed the back of a lean tan Mexican dude, long dark waves of hippie hair, gold-embroidered mariachi royal purple moiré board shorts, shooting up the left toward Rocky Point on an electrifyingly responsive board. Kila's gasping vine-leaved brown head erupted beside him, like a rogue torpedo. "You see dat?!" he muttered hoarsely, water streaming down his face, staring at the Mexican, eyeballs large and white. Gripping Otis's shoulder with his small, round brown hand, he hissed, "Dat explains everyting!! Zeus is- a GOOFYFOOT!"
