Murder in the Mess Hall

Abby Singleton, middle-aged Army wife, mother, and neighbor of "Sugar Kane"-a much-disliked Sergeant Major's wife-is arrested for murder after Sugar is discovered buck-naked, face-down on a mess hall table, with an apple in her mouth, and very, very dead. All of the evidence points to Abby, who is soon arrested by Captain Krause, of the Baumfelder German Police. Although many of the battalion wives had motives to kill Sugar, Abby is the one who is being targeted for the murder. How can she prove her innocence?
