Magical Girls meet Mad Scientists, Eldritch Gods, and then try to save the day.
But what happens when this repeats itself for years without an end in sight? Well, the world adjusts.
In the city of Markha, ex magical girl turned Police Detective Berrill Straw and her colleague Daniel are charged with investigating the grisly murder of a retired magical girl under protection. In a world where the evil eldritch god of the week bakes cookies in his off times, cultists pray every week at church, and ever-youthful magical girls sell merchandise to keep themselves afloat after decades on the job, the villain of the week is ever-changing.
Yet everyone has skeletons in their closets. Except for Daniel, because he's clearly just a normal human.
