A thrilling, unpredictable, yet sometimes hilarious quest takes you from the fashionable London restaurant scene and traverses to the wild, untamed jungles of the Cardamom Mountains, where an English baker and a Cambodian refugee searching for his missing family and an elusive plant, the source of an exquisite spice.
After receiving word from a Cambodian-based American P. I. helping them, claiming to have found the family, the unlikely pair embarks on a quest to reunite the Cambodia family and then locate the plant.
However, the pair are unaware the P. I. is a disgraced former DEA agent with ties to a major drug cartel, who coincidently, also want the plant, believing it to be a mythical opium poppy, rumored to produce undetectable heroin.
