This story set in the 1950's describes how Bobby is taken for a day trip to Crewe by his school friends. Of course Bobby must wear his school uniform and a shiny black rubber mackintosh. At Crewe Bobby is befriended by a girl who is surprised to discover what he has to wear under his grey school shorts. Bobby is forced to reveal many of his other very private secrets.
