While on a trip to Louisiana to pick up a few belongings, Remi Dubois and his girlfriend, Izzy Roth, are joined by his best friend, Chance Anselmi and his wife, Tara. The trip becomes an adventure for Izzy who is learning for the first time about the spicy Cajun land and its people. When they arrive, both couples try to convince Chance's grandfather, Poppee, to accompany them back to Quantico. With Chance and Tara due to have a baby soon, they urge Poppee to join them, at least until the baby is born. Remi and Izzy have much to contemplate with their new relationship. Chance and Tara, also in transition with a baby on the way, are wondering what the future holds. Poppee also finds himself thinking about what's in store for everyone. With so many decisions to make, there is only one thing on their minds... changes.
