A book of poetry that discusses the incredibly real events of the author's life as she travels to a new city for college and completes her first year there. The poems do not hold back when it comes to the content the author is willing to share as well as her personal thoughts about all of her experiences, both romantic and with friends and family. She describes personal struggles with herself, romance, and emotions that are brought up for the first time in her life. All of these events are real and the poems act as a reflection for the author as well as her taking control over her life once and for all.
