Growing up in the protection and security of small town Finkley, Alabama, one could expect that life for five-year old Grace Collins, encompasses everything imaginably good. With two, young, healthy and employed parents, immediate family within close proximity, a community of distant relatives and friends, her childhood, from the outside, seems nothing short of desirable; one without hardship, interference, or strife.

That notion, could not be farther from the truth. The truth is, life is hectic, and people are bad, and Grace gets the displeasure of experiencing, enduring, and finding solutions for far too many of life's unfortunate situations, far too soon.

All on her own, she confronts these issues, most of which she is forced to begin sorting out before even becoming a teenager. Grace is no stranger to adversity, but neither will she be to victory!

Go back in time with her as she faces the demons of her past head-on, tramples them into submission, and re-establishes control over her life and relationships moving forward.
