The Final Ride
Linda W Yezak
New York socialite Patricia Talbert now owns a Texas ranch and has decided to stay---mainly because she's in love with its foreman and regional bull riding champion, Talon Carlson. All she wants to do now is discover what her new "normal" is. But when Aunt Adele swoops in from Manhattan, intent on luring her back to New York, all thoughts of "normal" disappear in a whirlwind.
Talon's last bull flung him into the emergency room, and Patricia made him promise never to ride again. But vicious rumors circulate about why he quit---fear, cowardice, hiding behind Patricia's skirts---and he struggles to keep his word.
Will his decision to break his promise and stop the rumors give Adele the ammunition she needs to take Patricia back to New York?
