Unshackled

Unshackled is a testament to what women and radio are doing to transform India, inconspicuous as they seemingly are. The power of women's influence coupled with the vast reach of radio is subtly and steadily changing the dismal scenario, and a glimmer of hope is visible. A collection of short stories based on the lives of real people, theses stories offer a peak into the very personal lives of individuals who, in an atmosphere of trust, share their predicaments that are deeply imbedded in the socio-cultural-religious mindsets, forcing them towards suicides, addictions and despair. One by one as they find direction, they are unshackled to freely fly and further go on to become instruments to unshackle others, all working towards bringing forth a new shining India.
