Tall Weeds

The weeds grow tall in Yugoslavia because the fields are full of mines. In the 1990s finding Yugoslavia is easy, one need only follow the blood. Death is in the midst of a field day and to United Nations peacekeepers Tyler Longvue and Kazuko Nakamura it all seems so mindless, but is it? Balkan legend tells of a vast treasure hidden in the mountains of Sarajevo - Byzantine jewels, Turkish gold, Habsburg diamonds - but it's a fairy-tale, right? Wrong. The story is true and there are a few people who will do anything to anyone, just to get their hands on it. Through a series of tragic and mysterious events, fate lands Longvue and Nakamura in the center of this deadly fortune hunt. They must find the treasure to stay alive, and that's the easy part. In the riddled shadows of this fallen empire, the couple comes face-to-face with an insidious betrayal.
