Operation Quiet Thunder Doug Hedman
Operation Quiet Thunder
Doug Hedman
In 1977, the commune in the old mining town of New Pontiac in British Columbia, Canada, has a diverse group of residents that have managed to make peace with their differences and create a safe and harmless environment for the hippies, country folks, city slickers, draft dodgers, and a few Vietnam War veterans that have made it their home. On a quiet Sunday afternoon, a messenger delivers a letter that shakes the harmony of the commune. Two former Special Forces residents are the only men left to shoulder the burden of a Top Secret Operation of the Vietnam War that was to have been sanitized years before. Should the details of their mission, Quiet Thunder, be exposed, the information would fracture the foundation of the Government of the United States of America. Worldwide reaction would be swift and critical. Time is running out to finish what was started 6 years before.
