Publisher Marketing: Mr. Brady's writing has always dealt with history, the pursuit of happiness and truth, philosophy, love, war, the future, politics as well as our dreams and nightmares - the great issues of the human heart, mind and soul. This collection was put together for a reason - for a cause. He has long spoken of "the issue" which is that the human community of this world is not progressing in a positive, healthy direction, overall. It can be said that humanity is devouring itself and the world upon which it should be thriving. Because much of this trouble is human made, it is time for corrective measures, reconciliation, restitution and the redress of grievances. Some of the poems illuminate what we, as a people, a global community, stand to win should we make the changes needed - "Good News." Others portray issues, "Faux News" or the consequences of inaction, "Long After Time" and "Gone." In the concluding section, "Beating Around the Bush," Dan suggests how we, the 99%, could impact the 1% and does so using a Mr. G. W. Bush, as an example of what we the people could do to begin the healing. Lest any think America is especially culpable, Dan says he speaks for his own nation's role in the problem and leaves it to other's to take their own to task.
