Rage: Jack Owens Series (Volume 2) Wayne Lasner 1e uitgave

"Innocent as a newborn baby." Many believe that as life begins, each of us starts out pure. Only through peer pressure and a lifetime of misguidance, are these innocents corrupted. Parents and other family members are tasked with the challenging responsibilities for shaping the lives of their young. Only, in the darkest shadows of a terrorist's world, children are raised with a philosophy of the most frightening kind. They are taught that killing for their religious beliefs, for Jihad, is their future destiny. Since they never knew love or compassion, they are incapable of feeling remorse nor guilt. Jack Owens discovered this four years ago when he was suddenly thrust into a world of terror and espionage as a young CIA analyst. As an unsung hero for his part in breaking up a deadly conspiracy, Jack, now a seasoned member of the United States' most covert agency, continues to seek out and destroy terror cells at home and abroad. Traveling to the most inhospitable and dangerous "sand lands" of Yemen and the treacherous mountains of Afghanistan will bring Jack face to face again with a most unexpected adversary.
