The story is based in England and concerns two children, a girl of 13 and boy of 8, living in a "single parent" household. They discover a means by which it is possible to solve any crime. The problem is, do they have the maturity to handle such a device? Should they tell anyone of their discovery or keep it to themselves? Unfortunately their secrecy entangles them in a web of lies and some dangerous situations!
