A prominent actress with leading roles in theatre, television and films, Irene Cara rose to fame via her recording of the song "Fame" and starred in the 1980 film of the same name. Things really started to gel for Cara when she won an Academy Award in 1984 in the category of Best Original Song for co-writing "Flashdance... What a Feeling." Cara revisits her Academy Award winning song here on this special anniversary edition EP along with two originals - "Get a Grip (on It)" and "Give a Little Bit," along with the catchy "We're Gonna Get Up." All selections newly remastered.
