On this 1964 album, the Oscar Peterson Trio plays the very hits they have been asked to play at club concerts in recent years. At the time of recording, the trio had been playing together for five years and had an almost telepathic rapport. The album is highly regarded in hi-fi circles, and the bowed bass on "You Look Good to Me" in in particular has been a benchmark for pickup settings for decades. We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
