All Matt "Meat" Grayson wanted was to find a nice woman to fall in love and settle down with. Was that too much to ask? Apparently it was. After watching his friends find their wives and girlfriends and start families he was starting to think he was a lost cause. That is until the woman of his dreams arrived, a little worse wear. When Matt's dog Rosie found Phila scared and unable to speak he didn't expect her to be the woman he had been waiting all his life for. And she was that woman, if he could make her believe it, if he could make her see that he was the man she was waiting for. But first he had to make her safe, he had to take out her abuser once and for all to convince her that she was where she was supposed to be. Phila was not having a good year. Actually, most of the year had been just fine, until November when she was kidnapped and sold. She saved herself only to be found by a man who scared her for a completely different reason. She knew Matt would never hurt her, she knew he wanted to protect her and take care of her but could she stay with him? Stay so far from everything she knew and so close to the place where her nightmares were centered, even after he made it safe?
