Sophia Frost has never had much in her life but, when a dangerous situation transforms into a once in a lifetime opportunity, everything takes a turn for the better. Or so she thinks. As a new Mercenary, Sophia is brought into a world that she has never known, one with the freedom to do as she pleases and enough opportunity to last a lifetime. However, it quickly becomes clear that there is much about the city of Imperia that she doesn't know, and she is quickly thrust into a conflict against hostile forces that threaten to tear the city apart. It doesn't take long in the path of a Mercenary for Sophia to realize that between dangerous jobs and a hostile peer, that her new profession is not an easy one, but she's willing to fight to keep the first chance in life that she's ever had.
