The King's First Minister, and his wife, are awaiting execution in the Tower of London for embezzlement, and murder, respectively. His Lord Chancellor has been deposed by Act of Parliament! GEORGE CARTERET, aged just thirteen, is unaware of the national crisis. He embarks on a voyage to America, seeking fame and fortune. His life is at risk.
