Resistance to Rome
Ds Waggoner
Join three argumentative attorneys (a Jew, a Catholic and a Protestant) as they fume every morning before work as Sarah tries to convince Ian and Jerome that the New Testament describes Joseph as Jesus' biological father. Sarah points out that Matthew's gospel actually describes Jesus' biological genealogy traced through Jesus' biological father, Joseph, in the same way as Moses describes his own biological genealogy, in that both Moses and Matthew's author say the child's father married the child's mother, and she (the female) gave birth to the child (compare Exodus 6:20 to Matthew 1:16). Oh wait, that's in Vol 2. Come see Sarah argue that a biological descendant of king David, through King Solomon, on his biological father (Joseph's) side (whom many Jews were expecting) tricked the entire Roman military into bowing to a Jew, by encouraging his friends to tell the story of his birth in a humorously ambiguous fashion, so Rome would jump to a conclusion that Jesus was "virgin birthed", and bow to a Jew. Tricking your enemy in time of war is kosher in Judaism, yes?
