After the events at the Access Point, Apinya finds herself at the head of a village grieving for their leader. Without a mentor, she must do what is right for this village, even if that means forsaking the people she fought to protect. Torn between her duty to these people and a desire to create a life of her own, she doesn't notice the rise of a new threat. A technologically superior group threatens to destroy everything she has built. Can Apinya survive against The Illuminatus?
