Bugle's Ghost
Thomas B Evans
Having survived vicious combat with the Marines in the Pacific theater of World War II, Jack Arnett returned home to Kansas City and a job waiting for him at the Kansas City Star newspaper. Unfortunately, he did not come home alone. A taste for bourbon whiskey and a couple of weary ghosts accompanied the combat hardened Marine back to his hometown in the big western Missouri city. Each spirit has his own agenda, needing Jack's help to find their own way home. In time he learns what the ghosts need and helps them to understand life as what it has become after their deaths.
