Escape is a small collection of poems that elaborate on the feelings one goes through as they try to escape their dreams and live them out in reality while overcoming Anxiety, Failure, Depression, and Life in General. The collection starts with a poem about a spider who appears in a dream and later in reality. When you see a spider in a dream it represents good luck and new beginnings. After the spider appears, in reality, he is killed by the author. The author begins to wonder if she has killed her luck dead, prompting the first chapter Questions.
