After the death of his father, a young man moves into the dusty house his old man had owned, taking with him his former college roommate and best friend, Pete. While they had expected the place to be a fixer-upper, they did not expect to find the skeletal remains of an unknown man scattered throughout the house. Following clues left by the deceased father, the two of them unravel the mystery of just who those bones belong to, and how they got there.
