When the Bedposts Shake
Gary Lee Vincent
Jack Crannson was having a midlife crisis. A successful architect, Jack was more interest in running his business than saving his marriage. With his workaholic wife fueling his own disinterest, he decides to move closer to his work by purchasing an older house in the Maple Lake section of Bridgeport, West Virginia.
The house purchase seemed like a logical enough choice for Jack, despite Samantha, his estranged wife's, protest. The only illogical thing was the condition that came with the house from Mr. Bannering, the home's previous owner. . .
Mr. Bannering warned that Jack mustn't use the north bedroom, and under no circumstances, sleep in the bed. It was locked and needed to stay that way.
What Mr. Bannering failed to disclose was that trapped within that room was a demonic force, a she-devil succubus named Cali that was looking for some way to escape her prison and enter the earthly realm in the flesh to prey on male victims by feeding on their sexual energy. With the house having a new owner, she may just get her wish.
