Shame Nanny Edna's daughter doesn't share in the idea of a tight-knit family. After an accidental kitchen fire, Nanny Edna is forced to move into the godawful Oasis Grove, a retirement home which makes prisons seem like paradise. If being deserted by loved ones wasn't bad enough these guards (I mean carers) are hell bent on making her life miserable.




Mistreated, but not defeated she rallies a group of golden oldies to go out and live their dreams. Her intelligence, craft and all-around spirit transforms her community in more ways than one.
