The birds were in trouble in Preston Downs. Turmoil, division and misunderstanding were the order of the day. Sickness, decay and despair had begun to infiltrate everywhere.

Every kind of bird was flocking to the new watering hole found at the bottom of the valley; the fresh, clear mountain pools had been forgotten.

William, the wise old owl is called in, once again, to show the other birds the way back to life, health and truth.
