America in Shambles

Two complete stories of apocalyptic disasters that befall the citizens of the United States by one of America's most popular apocalyptic fiction writers. Grandpa's Cabin When a large dense grouping of meteors strike the earth a man living in the city of Denver doesn't think too much about it. None seemed to have hit the city he lived in but he soon found out that the many impacts will affect every man, woman, and child in America and maybe even the whole world. As the city starts to unravel around him he knows he should leave but he has no place to go. Finally with little choice left he leaves the city and just heads for the hills where he finds things to be both good and bad. Double Punch Our nation's economy is on the ropes. Unemployment is very high and business closings are common. Then America is hit with a massive hurricane on the east coast at the same time a large earthquake hits the west coast. The two hits are too much for our weakened economy and America crumbles from the double punch. With everything going bad a man near the east coast decides to head west looking for greener pastures. This is his story.
