Beyonder is a novel about life after life. Science fiction flows into and out of science fact. A homemaker washing dishes is struck by lightning, dies, and returns to this world with paranormal gifts. She can read and intuit messages from a glowing source in the infinite and communicates as much as she can interpret along with other gifts from Beyonder. Her family rallies around her as the media howling pursues them across the country. Her husband, three children, and mother try to adapt, but no one is prepared for the challenges flung on them in the blink of an eye. Seventy to ninety percent of our universe is comprised of dark matter or antimatter about which we humans know nothing. We know so little about our environment that there is an infinity to learn from Beyonder, a portal to the unknown.
