My memories of growing up in Tulare County, California during the 1950s and 1960s. Living in the heart of fertile farmland, attending small rural schools, and spending much of my life on my grandparents ranch located in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Three Rivers. My experiences in the US Navy, attending college under the GI Bill, and working at a Naval Shipyard. Includes several hunting stories. Told in a humorous, self-deprecating style.
