Wen Shen

When an older Canadian white male from Victoria meets a young Chinese female from Nanjing, they become friends. Through embracing diversity, mutual respect and support the two friends have assisted each other in different ways and each has grown as a result. In spite of a world fraught with political division, conflict and intolerance people across the world are connecting on a human level. Change occurs one person at a time and it is through focusing on similarities, rather than differences that the world will become a healthier place to live.
