Homeless Man

A beautiful single woman Mary Ann decides to volunteer at a Homeless Center in Chicago. She works at an ad agency but wants to do something significant with the little free time she has. At the center, she meets a Homeless Man Edward that intrigues her. The curious man who actually doesn't appear homeless is headed to the library to discuss ancient history with one of the librarians in ancient languages. At one time a journalist, Mary Ann decides to find out more about this man so she travels to the library to talk with the librarian. The librarian relates that the man is probably a genius as she saw him writing very complex mathematical formulas on one of the library computers. He is also a brilliant violin player. She subsequently finds out that Edward is actually Isaac considered by many to be one of the greatest minds on Earth who has allegedly developed a device that transports people and objects through hyperspace to the planets of the solar system. He also has developed extremely advanced weapons to protect his device. The military wants Edward to develop more weapons and keep the weapons that they have of his working. Edward does not wish to do this so he is hiding in plain site as a homeless man. Meanwhile, Mary Ann is developing a romantic relationship with Edward. As the military relentlessly pursues them Mary Ann and Edward flee. Edward's ties to an alien race of which he is not aware unveil a secret fate in store for the Earth. Together they try to survive an increasing hostile military while trying to save the Earth that seems to wish to do them harm.
