Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1935 in Bruno, Saskatchewan. She was always busy as a little girl doing all kinds of sports, babysitting and even helping out in the family's tailor shop. Many fond memories were made from all the different books she read and the stories that her parents told her. She later became a teacher, got married and had six children of her own. Throughout the years, Elizabeth kept the storytelling tradition alive with not only her own children, but also her very precious grandchildren. The story telling led to the creation of Weenana which she created with her grandchildren and family.
