There cannot be light without darkness. Raw. Human. Raw human. Emotive, contemplative and unrestricted, a collection of poetry chronicling the author's most vulnerable sliver of time and life, which seems all too prevalent in this day in age, the separation from a significant other and his children. Sporadic and exposed, this body of work follows a chronological story of the ups and downs attributed to the unpredictability of the struggle to keep a family together and the mental void of realizing it may not be possible. These pages are the realization of a mind under duress finding a way to express and capture the confusion; to understand, conquer and overcome.
