The story takes the reader through Christmas and Easter as seen through the eyes of the shepherds and the sheep with a touch of whimsy thrown in just for fun. Joy DeVos is a retired music teacher and media specialist from the Canby School District in Canby, Oregon, now residing in Medford, Oregon with her husband Gordon and two tuxedo cats. She has written several musical plays for use in schools and churches. This is her first book. As a freelance illustrator, Callie Mosttler finds joy in combining her artistic skill with her love for people and communication. With a soft traditional style in mixed mediums, she creates an art that tells a story and conveys emotion to the reader.
